读者很多的GenomeWeb最近报道了我们启动R10K项目的新闻（点击看全文）：
这个项目的启动意义重大： “Our immune system is the most sensitive and specific in recognizing external or internal "threats", it negotiates with the environment daily and ready to react through its diversified T and B cells. ”
换句话说，免疫系的T细胞和B细胞受体能特异而且高效地和疾病相关的抗原结合，通过高通量测序，我们就可以顺着这个高度特异和敏感的“藤”摸到诊断疾病的“瓜”。以前的技术不能把免疫细胞细分到单细胞水平，所以分辨率比较低。有了免疫组库测序技术，找到与疾病相关的特异性抗原结合的免疫细胞就成了可能。
