Appearance 红色或红褐色细粉。对光敏感。能从空气中吸收氧气变成无色的氧化物而失去活性。溶于二硫化碳、苯和氯仿，略溶于乙醚、石油醚和油类，极难溶于甲醇和乙醇，几乎不溶于水、酸类和碱类，稀溶液呈黄色。
